Dear Family,

In honor of the Ida Mae Center in Jacksonville NC and in support of Cancer Awareness gettinf our family together once again in honor of our grandparents, mother, aunties, uncles, sisters, brothers, children and other family members, who are no longer with us. This is very important to me and my slibing and I hope it is just as important to you . Our family has expired and we have only one uncle left so far, we are all sisters brothers and cousins, we need to keep our family back in touch with each other so that our family will never be alone, or separated again, we must stay in touch with each other, so that we can be together while we are here on earth and our grandparents, our parents, our auties, uncles, sisters. brothers and children are in heaven together.

It's a good feeling to be around family again especially when we grew up together. Once we became adults, everyone went their separate ways to accomplish their dreams, their careers, and to take care of their families. Life is short and it has been so long since we all have been together. This reunion may be our family of sisters, brothers and cousins.

Please give 2nd reunion some serious thought this is something that we really need to keep do for the love one's we have lost because they took really good care of us.

My sisters, brothers and cousin, I need your help, I can't do this alone. Your in put is just as important as mines. I need suggestions, I need your ideas, I need your help to make this dream come true. Nothing is impossible, we have plenty of time if we start now , we must plan now for the further of our families, to get to know family.

A well plan event will always be a success. Action speaker louder than words, because words disappear, and soon to be forgotten after they are said, but action creates reality, let's do this.

Family

Not enough hours in the day, we often say
we watch as the business of life allows time slip away.

Before we know days turn to months and months into years,
Time is mapped with laughter and cheers,
the long road sometimes landmarked with sadness and tears.

Elders pass and children grow,
has it been that long we ask, where does the time go?

Not every chance to gather is taken.
"We'll see them next time" we say and hope we're not mistaken.

A chance like now comes once in a lifetime it seems,
when the bright light of family is nurtured and beams,
there will be laughter and time to reminisce
we will all be proud this is a chance we did not miss.

The Reunion Committee

The 2016 Our Family Reunion committee will be hosted by the family .

Below is a little information about the committee members We needed volunteer's for each area.

2016 REUNION COORDINATOR

JOANN KINNEY WILLIAM is the 2016 Reunion Coordinator. She currently resides in Farmington Hill Michigan and is the daughter of Ida Mae Kirkland., �Wishing on a Star Events & Entertainment, Motown in Jacksonville NC. We are excited to coordinate the 2016 Our Family Reunion.

HOTELS & ACCOMMODATIONS/BANQUET DIRECTOR

will be wearing a lot of hats during the 2016 Our Family Reunion: Banquet Chair, Marketing and Advertising and Hotel and Accommodations.

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

the director of Communications and will also be compiling the 2016 Our Family Reunion Souvenir book. communicating with families and is excited to be chairing the communications committee.

T-SHIRT COMMITTEE CHAIR

MARTEZ KIRKLAND will be heading up the 2016 Our Family Reunion T-shirt committee. excited to be able to create the reunion T-shirts for the 2016 Our Family Reunion.

HEAD OF CITY TOURS

will be heading up the 2016 Our Family Reunion City Tours.

FAMILY REUNION HISTORIAN

will be the 2016 Our Family Reunion family historian. excited to be able to research our family�s history and present it to you at the 2016 Family Reunion.

PICNIC COMMITTEE MEMBER

will be part of the 2016 picnic committee. excited to coordinate the 2016 Our Family Reunion Picnic.

HEAD OF DECORATIONS

will be in charge of decorations for the 2016 Our Family.excited to be able to utilize decorating skills at the 2016 Family Reunion.

REUNION PHOTOGRAPHER

will be in charge of ensuring that the 2016. Our Family Reunion is recorded in picture and video form. loves recording memories and is vey excited to record the 2016 Family Reunion.

HOSPITALITY DIRECTOR

will chair the hospitality committee and will also be in charge of welcoming out of town guests. is very excited to be able to welcome each of you to the city .

ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE

will be the head of entertainment of Our Family Reunion

GRAPHIC ARTIST

is the Our Reunion graphic artist, which includes developing Our Family Reunion logo.

State Ambassadors

Below, you will find ambassadors that represent family members in states where there are more than four family members. They will be engaged in communicating information to family members in their state regarding the reunion, notifying the reunion coordinator how many from their state will be attending the reunion, and the voice for their assigned state.
