Dance is a wonderful way to uplift your spirit and bring

joy to life even through the most difficult times.

There are things in life which come upon us sometimes to make us sad, such as loneliness,

being rejected by people we love and care about, loss of love ones, illness, financial woes and the loss of a job.

Even through our darkest hours God wants us to continue to focus on him and lift up his name in the dance.

Dance is the number one mood booster.

Praising God in dance makes it much more purposeful for us to gain a connection with him and lift the low swinging moods.

Worship dance, brings healing and purification to the mind, body and spirit.

One of the most precious things about glorifying God in dance is it replenishes our spirit to

receive a guaranteed uplift of positive energy in living life to the fullest.

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, " declares the Lord,

" plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

No matter what you are going through God will provide comfort, peace and strength for you even through the most difficult times.

Things won't always be easy and your deep rooted problems may seem far from help.

You must trust in the Lord and never give up.

We all go through trials and tribulations but  his word says he will never leave or forsake you ( Hebrews 13:5).

God's plan for you life is one of prosperity and fullness.

He wants to use you generously as his vessel and bless you abundantly through your gift of dance.

(Psalms 66:12 - We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment).

Let's be obedient to his word and work diligently as soldiers in his army by doing his will and lifting up each other through prayer. Together as we dance to glorify his name, let's plant the seeds and gather the harvest for the blessing of God's kingdom through worship dance.

Spending this beautiful Saturday with my friends at the Ida Mae Center was indeed a pleasure to fellowship with them again and watch them dance to the tune of " Wade in the water" by the North Creek Park. Thanks again to all of you who is giving God something to work with each and every day. We cancer survivals thank you for our fruit baskets. Love you all and miss you even more.

            5 Reasons to Choose Dance

In dance movement, muscle groups work on a system of stretching and relaxing.

  •
  • Therefore, it is very important for a dancer to be as strong as he or she is flexible. Otherwise, injury may once again occur because the particular muscle groups are not able to keep the body in proper alignment.

  • Stretching the muscles before dancing allows greater flexibility and keeps injuries at bay. Start by targeting the large muscle groups, such as the quads or hamstrings, with long, slow stretches held for 10-15 seconds and repeated a couple of times on each side. Approach your stretches as you would a dance routine - in other words, focus and breathe.

  •     Proper stretching also increases the range of motion of joints in the body. This helps to increase the body's ability to maintain proper balance while being     active and reduces the risk of a fall. Stretching also improves circulation, which can help muscle injuries heal faster. Stretching can also help relieve stress by relaxing tense muscles.
