Entries – Team entries will be due Monday January 29th by 5:00PM. Full Team Rosters with Grade Level (SR, JR, SO, FR, 8) should be submitted separately so all relay only swimmers are official entered into the meet.  Same order of events as a dual meet.  There is no entry limit per event.  A competitor may enter a maximum of four events (2 individual and 2 relays or 1 individual and 3 relays maximum).

 

Entry Times – This is consider a League Meet.  Therefore, there are no rules on entry times/seed times with the exception of the 500 Freestyle.  There is 7:30 cut off time for the 500FR.  Please don’t enter anyone with a time slower than that or make up a time you know the swimmer cannot achieve.  Entries of NT will not be accepted.

 

Required Dive – the required dive will be Forward.  Dive Sheets to be submitted by 9:15AM for Boys, 1:15PM for Girls.

 

Warm Up Schedule – Warm Up time slots will be assigned once entries are in.

 

Boys

Girls

12:45-1:10

 

1:10-1:35

Warm Up Slots will be assigned once entries are in

1:35-2:00

 

 

Scoring – 12 places will score: 16-13-12-11-10-9-7-5-4-3-2-1 (Double for Relays)

 

Awards - Individual events: medals 1-3 ribbons 4-12; Relay events: medals 1, ribbons 2-6; Championship plaques will be awarded to the top 3 teams.  Dual Meet Championship plaques will also be presented

 

Relay Declarations - You may assign relay names with the original entry or wait to the day of the meet to declare.  The more information we have at the start of the meet, the easier it is to run.  During the meet, a form will be available to change relay names and must be submitted to the meet referee prior to the start of the event. A hy-tek relay print out of relays will also be accepted.

 

Swimmer Seating – Teams will be assigned a spot on the deck.  It will be your team’s responsibility to keep that area clean.  All swimmers not on the roster will be asked to leave the deck.  Space is very limited.  There will be an extra room set up for the meet for swimmers to store extra bags and to get off the deck.  Footwear should be worn at all times in the hallways.

 

Locker Rooms – Coaches are responsible for the behaviors of their team while in the locker rooms.  Please share the message with your team.  All teams should treat the facility as if it were their own.  Please help us eliminate unnecessary use of the locker rooms.  

 

Spectator Seating – The gallery can support around 150 spectators.  Keep in mind it is very warm in the gallery; please tell your spectators to dress appropriately.

 

Timing Assignments – Team must provide 2 timers with their own watches.  Sandwich does have extra stopwatches.
