Angels win season opener vs. Raymond 3-1

The BOLD Blue Angels opened the season with a 3-1 victory over Raymond on Thursday night. They allowed only 3 hits and struck out 13 batters. Daylen Weber picked up the win in relief of Jack Kaiser. Lane Osterfeld came in for the 2 inning save to preserve the win. In addition to the save, he was 2-3 with an rbi double and a walk at the plate. Next up for the Blue Angels is a trip to Redwood Falls where they will play a Jr/Sr doubleheader and look to move to 2-0. This weekend the Blue Angels play in a tournament hosted by Marshall. They will play Friday at 11 am and 4 or 6 PM at the Irish Yard in Milroy.
