2009 Fall SMBC Travel League

Welcome to the official website of the San Marcos Baseball Club (SMBC Home Page) Travel League. The purpose of this newly formed travel league is to offer travel baseball teams in North San Diego County the opportunity to play competitive baseball at minimal cost with minimal travel. SMBC will also be hosting monthly travel tournaments at our SMBC fields (SMBC Tournaments Website).

The SMBC Travel League will offer teams the utmost flexibility in their scheduling, as teams can dictate which weekends they want off. The SMBC Travel League will offer teams the opportunity to play either single games or doubleheaders if interested.

We will have 10U, 11U, 12U, and 13U divisions this year. We are looking for 8-10 teams per division.

League format will consist of a regular season schedule and end of season playoffs. Awards will be given to both regular season and playoff champions. The regular season will start the weekend of September 12th and run through Sunday November 1, 2009. Playoffs will be completed the weekends of November 8th and 15th.

SMBC has access to a number of fields in San Marcos for games. We are also looking for teams that have home fields that would be willing to host Divisional games as well, either single games or doubleheaders. League costs will be based on a team's field access, as all of the league costs are for field time and maintenance.

Please visit the Handouts section and download a Fall 2009 Flyer which provides details on the SMBC Fall League. Then download, fill-out, and send in a team entry form as soon as possible so we can get verification on who will be playing and how much field time will be required.
