Countdown to Stags vs Riggers season opener (May 26/11)

Welcome to Red Deer Baseball and the home of the Red Deer Stags Baseball Club.  Founded in 1994 the Stags have enjoyed great success throughout their history.

The Stags play in the Sunburst Baseball League which was founded over 50 years ago.  The league boasts teams from Red Deer, Edmonton area and Calgary.  The Stags were 2008 Sunburst League Champions, finished second in Provincials in 2007, in 2006 represented Alberta at the AAA Canadian National Championships and were AAA provincial Champions in 2005.

The Stags also play in several cash tournaments during the summer, including tournaments in Calgary, St. Albert, Red Deer, and Kelowna B.C.

The team consists of players aged 18 to 35+ who have played high levels of baseball around the world. The majority have played at American college/university's as well as in Europe and Australia.
