Welcome to the Miller County Lady Pirate Varsity Basketball New Home Page.

              I am honored, humbled, privileged and proud to take over a program with such a rich history in varsity girls basketball. This program has proudly earned the following state titles in the past; 1946 Girls Class B State Basketball Champions, 1960 Girls Class AA State Basketball Champions, 1977 Girls Class B State Basketball Champions, 1979 Girls Class A State Basketball Champions, 1980 Girls Class A State Basketball Champions and Miller County is the proud home of Auburn University Womens' Basketball record holder and SEC Great Marianne Merritt Melton. I am also proud to take over a program that my uncle Robert Melton worked so hard in for many years and honored to follow in the footsteps of such great coaches like him, Joe Lowery, and Walter Daniels. I love my school, my community, my team and the game and feel blessed to be here. I believe in my team and what the future holds for us. Moving forward we will continue to include the Lord in our program and work hard.
