| New Semi I Pro Football Team The Greenwood Eagles Are Looking For Players Of All Postion For 2011 Season Ages 18 and olders Try Out Coming Soon. Are you a good enough football player to wear the blue, yellow and white of the Greenwood Eagles as they pursue a National Championship? Cost for a new Greenwood Eagles player-applicant... to try out at our open tryouts is $35.00, payable in cash on the day of the tryout. Each tryout will be approximately 3 hours in length, with the first hour of each tryout dedicated to the filling out of registration forms and the collection of tryout fees. ALL PLAYER-APPLICANTS MUST PAY THE TRYOUT FEE BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO TRY OUT; NO EXCEPTIONS. All tryouts will include timing in the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, L-drill, standing broad jump, and position-specific drills. Player-applicants should wear shorts or workout clothes and running shoes; wearing of football pads or helmets will not be necessary. Greenwood Eagles Internship Program: The Greenwood Eagles is constantly looking for highly motivated, self-starters to fill internship positions year round. The Greenwood Eagles Internship Program allows students to learn how a professional sports team operates with hands-on experience. Interns will have the chance to work in all aspects of the organization, thus allowing them to see what they like and don’t like about working for a professional sports team. Interns will be expected to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays on an as needed basis. All internships are unpaid. This is our first season in the League. We are looking for athletes who have discipline, toughness and willing to put forth a great effort. The Greenwood Eagles want to give a player,cheerleader/dancer and coach a chance to make a difference. Whether, that is trying to make it to the next level, get better at the game of football or the game of life. We are dedicated to our community and dedicated to making a difference. You will play with intensity and emotion and become one out of eleven of most reckless,relentless players on the field.You must execute with perfection,with suddenness and quickness.You will be part of an attacking defense designed to maximize disruption in the offense.You will develop the attitude as the toughest,meanest,smartest,most disciplined and most observant one eleven similar player on the field.You will be one of the eleven most physical, hardest hitting, fastest pursuing tacklers on the field.
