Countdown to 2012 Season
(Apr 5/12)

Welcome to the Fraser Valley Midget AA Web Page.

Silver Hawks Tier 1; PoCo Twins Tier 2 Champions

In the Tier 1 pool, Ridge Meadows Silver Hawks beat the Ridge Meadows Royals 8 - 5 on a rainy day this past Saturday June 25th.  The Silver Hawks drew first blood with 2 runs in the first inning.  The Royals battled back, but were not able to take a lead.  Both teams had some problems with the slippery field, with the Silver Hawks being the better team on this day.

The Tier 2 game had the Port Coquitlam Twins scoring early, building up a 7 run lead after 3 innings.  The Mid Valley Jays were game, and scored runs in the 4th and 5th, but the Twins turned the offence up in the bottom of the 5th to complete the game.

These games complete an exciting 2011 season.  A big Thank-You goes out to the individual association Coordinators, whose behind the scenes work make this league work.  As well, this year's coaches put in hundreds of hours of volunteer time so that the players could play.  Well done everyone!!!

Congratulations Coquitlam/Moody Rays 2011 League Champions

The Coquitlam/Moody Rays have been crowned the 2011 regular season Champions.  With a record of 14 wins and only 2 losses the Rays completed a most outstanding season.

Now the toughest test...Who will hoist the invisible Playoff Championship!!!  Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion of this year's league!

West Vancouver wins the Scott Smith

Great weather equals a great tournament.  Baseball was alive and being played at Hammond Park, with both the stadium and Larry Walker fields being in full use for the 2011 Scott Smith Memorial Midget AA Tournament. Eight teams fought hard in this year's tournament, which came down to a team from West Vancouver being crowned Champs after a 10 - 2 win over a game, but tired, Ridge Meadows Mariners.  All players, coaches, umpires, and fans had lots of sun, and warm weather...until the final game, which was played in cooler, wetter weather.  A well run tournament!!!  Well done congratulations go out to the Ridge Meadows Minor Baseball Association!
