TO THE
CRESTVIEW MEN'S FASTBALL LEAGUE

The MacDon Old Sox are happy to be hosting this years festivities for the first time.We hope that all teams will be very well represented at the banquet,to be held on Saturday Oct. 1st at A.W.C.C. at 861 Buchanan.The theme for this years event is "NOSTALGIA NIGHT". What I am asking everyone to do is to try and collect as many past jerseys as they can from their respective teams, going back to the roots and origin of each squad.For those of us who can still fit into our shirts from 20-30 years ago(HA!..good one), by all means wear them.... if not just bring them along, and we can put them up on the wall by each team. Whichever team has the most different jerseys representing their franchise will get preferential treatment when it comes to dinner,and a free round of drinks,so start digging through the old boxes and moth balls in the attic and basement and lets have fun with this.I am encouraging anyone who is not able to squeeze into their old uni's (about 90 % of the league, I would guess) to get dressed up in old outfits from their younger days,be it greaser, hippy, mod,or even the 80's look with mullets and white boots and legging for the gals...this could be a hoot,if everyone takes part. Also i have procured the services of a great band to help relive the old days..OH SO POPULAR is an excellent four piece group specializing in music from the 60's to the 90's,and they are looking forward to getting geared up in their retro outfits and grooving with us old folks!!
