Thunder and Parents,

Coach Dave, Coach Lloyd, and I were truly impressed with the play from these girls on Sunday night in Summit. A real heart-breaker if you ask me. I’m guessing these girls like to play on turf because they were running hard, passing beautifully, shooting, crossing, moving the ball up the sidelines, attacking the opponent… you name it, they did it. We were VERY impressed.

Of all the games we’ve won or lost, the look in their eyes after being tied 0-0 (halftime), and 1-1 (with minutes to go), then losing 2-1 was almost too hard for me to handle. They worked so hard and they deserved to feel better walking off that field. We just want to tell the parents that we, as coaches, REALLY appreciate the hard work and dedication.

The Coaches will publish a Coach’s Corner sometime this week (hopefully) and we look forward to seeing you all in our final week of play.
