Merchants Win 17-2

BV's bats were red hot against the Pipestone A's, slugging 13 hits on the night.  Gary Walz led the way with a 5-5 performance.  Adam Schroeder tallied 4 RBI's on 2 hits, including a 3 run homer in the 3rd inning.  Nick Bruning hit his 4th homer of the year and had 3 RBI's and Lee Heidenson went 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI's.  Jordan Ahrendt pitched 6 solid innings of baseball.  He allowed 1 ER on 4 hits while striking out 6 batters and walking only 2.  The game was called in the 6th inning due to the 15 run rule.  BV hopes to keep their bats alive when they visit Canaries Stadium on Saturday facing the Renner Roadrunners.  Gametime is at 7:30pm!!
