Important Team Meeting - Nov 30th 7 PM

There is an important meeting for North Delta Blue Jays parents on Tuesday, November 30th at 7:00 PM at Mackie Clubhouse 10900 82 Ave, Delta. An overview of plans for the 2005 season will be discussed.

Four Blue Jays make Selects teams

Congratulations to James Paxton on making the U17 BC Selects team which played in the Canada Cup Tournament August 20 - 22 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Team BC took home the Silver medal, losing 3-2 in extra innings to Quebec. Congratulations also go out to 3 players chosen for the 2006 Selects team for the Pacific Northwest Championships August 15 - 17 in Portland Oregon. Chris Bowman, Brian Trautman and Jordan Padrinao each pitched well against the Washington Metro team, the eventual tournament champion. Bowman and Trautman gave up no runs on 2 hits over 6 innings in the final round robin game. Padrinao gave up one run on 2 hits in 3 innings in the Championship game. Well done!

BC Minor Midget Premier Provincial Championships

The North Delta Blue Jays took the silver medal in the 2004 Provincial Chamionships. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the Provincial tournament a success.
