Please Note- Changes to League games July 8 and 9 - The Edmonton Cardinals are not available to play on this weekend. Therefore, we will play Spruce Grove a double header on Saturday July 8. Game times to be confirmed.

June 12, Cubs win silver medal in Sherwood Park
The Cubs went 2 and 2 on the weekend and lost to St. Albert in the Championship game at this year's Sherwood Park Tournament.
Next game June 21 against the Red Deer Braves.


June 8, Cubs win in 9 innings
The Cubs traveled to Red Deer last night and played and exciting game against the Red Deer Braves. Leading 5 to 4 in the bottom of the 7th, the Braves scored one run to tie the game. The game continued tied until the top of the 9th inning when the Cubs rallied for 4 runs. Red Deer scored one more run in the bottom of the 9th but it wasn't enough. The Cubs are now tied for second place with Red Deer behind the St. Albert Cardinals.


May 23, Cubs come out of the weekend with one win
Next game May 24 against the Red Deer Braves, 6:30 PM.

May 16, Get out the brooms! Cubs sweep on the weekend
After losing 3 the weekend before, the Cubs went on the road to play Sherwood Park and St. Albert. They beat the Sherwood Park A's twice on Saturday and faced a tough St. Albert team on Sunday. It took two "come from behind" wins to complete the sweep. Now the team continues on the road as they travel to Red Deer on Wednesday night and to Regina this May long weekend.

May 8, Cubs win one on opening weekend
The Cubs had early season defence problems as they dropped three games to Edmonton and Spruce Grove over the weekend. The only win came against the Edmonton Cardinals on Sunday morning, AJ Armstrong went the distance picking up his first win of the year.

Feb 15, The Cubs choose indoor training facility
Mount Royal College has been chosen as the Spring Training Indoor facility for 2006. The team will have access to the running track, swiming pool and gym areas. Spring Training Camp to begin the week of March 6th.

Jan 19, The Calgary Cubs are pleased to announce Trent Shwaluk as an assistant coach
Trent brings 25 years of baseball experience to the Cubs. Trent won a Western Canada Championship as a Bantam and a National Championship as a Midget. Trent also played 4 years of junior baseball and 2 years of men's league all in Manitoba. After moving to Calgary he played for the Calgary White Sox with Pablo Forno for 3 years, winning a Provincial Championship one of those years.
Trent is a valuable addition to our coaching staff, we are very happy to have him.

Jan 16, Baseball Calgary Names Pablo Forno as Head Coach
Pablo returns to Baseball Calgary as the Bantam Performance Head Coach he will be announcing assistant coaches at a later date.
