Please check the handout section for these 2009 forms. These forms are still required and should be given to the director at tryouts. There will be more information soon about online registration. Thanks!


SRVA Junior Commitment Date
The junior try-out policy applies to ALL junior age divisions for the 2008-09 season. The commitment dates for each state are as follows: Alabama 11/10/08; Tennessee 11/11/08; and Georgia 11/12/08. Although tryouts for younger players may occur before each state's high school championships [if allowed by that state's high school rules], the commitment date for ALL age division players are the above dates. Inform all participants that any deposit or fee above $50 will be refunded at least through the above commitment dates [see Section II. C. 1 of the SRVA Handbook].

CONGRATULATIONS to AE 151 and AE 161 for their finishes in the JOVC National Tournament in Dallas, TX.

AE 151 finished 26th in the 15 National Division
AE 161 finished tied for 5th in the 16 American Division

A special congratulations to Chelsea Wintzinger for being named to the 16 American All-Tournament Team!!

Also, good luck to AE players Heather Thomas and Lauren Wintzinger as they continue their volleyball careers at UAB and Alabama respectively!!
