Oceanside Minor Baseball is pleased to announce registration will be held at Save-On Foods in the Wembley Mall on the following dates & times: Feb 6 & 7 from 11 am to 3 pm and Feb 20 & 21 from 11 am to 3 pm Divisions: > Blastball - Born 2003 & 2004 - $35 - Players learn the basics – hitting off a tee, catching and throwing - Tuesday & Thursday at Qualicum fields (behind Ravensong Pool) > Tadpole - Born 2001 & 2002 - $110 - Players learn base running, hit off pitching machine - Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at Qualicum fields (behind Ravensong Pool) > Mosquito - Born 1999 & 2000 - $125 - Players pitch, base stealing is introduced, 60’ base paths, summer ball is available - Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at Springwood Park > Pee Wee - Born 1997 & 1998 - $130 - Full base stealing is allowed, 70’ base paths, summer ball is available - Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at Springwood Park > Bantam - Born 1995 & 1996 - $140 - Regular baseball rules, 80’ base paths, AAA and summer ball available - Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at Springwood Park - For Oceanside players trying out for the regional Bantam AAA teams, you must register with Oceanside Minor Baseball first. If the player later plays with a different region, his or her registration will be transferred. > Midget - Born 1992, 1993 & 1994 - $140 - Major League baseball rules and field dimensions, summer ball is available - Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday at Springwood Park * To read a description of equipment needed for each division, please click on the Equipment link. Posted Feb 5/10 - Umpire Clinic - April 10

Oceanside Baseball will be hosting an Umpire Clinic on April 10. The clinic is for both new and returning umpires and will cover Levels One and Two. There is no charge for the clinic and lunch will be provided. Umpires are paid on a per game basis with higher rates paid for higher game levels. You must be a second year Pee Wee or older to umpire. Adult umpires are invited and Needed! Attendees MUST pre-register for this clinic. Oceanside Minor Baseball is proud to support our alumni as they strive to achieve their educational goals. Each year the association awards the Oceanside Minor Baseball scholarship to qualifying players who will be continuing on to college or university.
