The on-line registration payment service is provided to Oceanside Minor Baseball by BallCharts.com and PayPal. Registration fees include a 5% online convenience fee paid by Oceanside Minor Baseball to BallCharts.com.

Divisions:

> Blastball - Born 2003, 2004 & 2005 - $35
- Players learn the basics – hitting off a tee, catching and throwing
- Tuesday & Thursday at Qualicum fields (behind Ravensong Pool)

> Tadpole - Born 2001 & 2002 - $110
- Players learn base running, hit off pitching machine
- Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at Qualicum fields (behind Ravensong Pool)

> Mosquito - Born 1999 & 2000 - $125
- Players pitch, base stealing is introduced, 60’ base paths, summer ball is available
- Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at Springwood Park

> Pee Wee - Born 1997 & 1998 - $130
- Full base stealing is allowed, 70’ base paths, summer ball is available
- Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at Springwood Park

> Bantam - Born 1995 & 1996 - $140
- Regular baseball rules, 80’ base paths, AAA and summer ball available
- Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at Springwood Park
- For Oceanside players trying out for the regional Bantam AAA teams, you must register with Oceanside Minor Baseball first. If the player later plays with a different region, his or her registration will be transferred.

> Midget - Born 1992, 1993 & 1994 - $140
- Major League baseball rules and field dimensions, summer ball is available
- Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday at Springwood Park

Posted Feb 10/10 - Coaching Clinic in Nanaimo, March 19-21

The Big League Experience in partnership with Baseball B.C. is pleased to announce the 2010 BLE NANAIMO Super Clinic to be held in Nanaimo, B.C. March 19 to 21. Head Instructor Marty Lehn, professional scout for the Milwaukee Brewers, invites you to start the season off and join him and former Major Leaguer Chris at the “NANAIMO SUPER CLINIC”. This important weekend will give coaches, players and parents the opportunity to work directly with those who work with today’s major leaguers and tomorrow’s stars.

Due to recent changes in Baseball B.C., this Super Clinic is one of the few venues where coaches can obtain their coaching certification. All aspects of INITIATION Coach and REGIONAL Coach modules will be covered during the three days of the clinic.

Oceanside Minor Baseball will reimburse its coaches for the registration costs of the clinic. Please email Dave Holland at dave@oceansidebaseball.ca if you plan to attend.

Please note: Coaches taking INITIATION must have completed the NCCP “ON LINE” registration and Initiation certification before registering for any modules.

The BLE NANAIMO SUPER CLINIC will be held at Dover Bay Secondary, 6135 McGirr Road in Nanaimo, B.C., March 19 to 21. Please note: The Super Clinic will include coaching instruction and NCCP Certification (in conjunction with Baseball BC) as well as player instruction. Player instruction will be offered to players, ages 10 to 15. Players will work one on one with Guest Coaches covering throwing mechanics, hitting and pitching over the two days. In addition, there will be an Elite player session offered for Pitchers/Catchers and hitting.
