The Mustangs drop to 6-3 in district with a 46-44 loss to Memorial High School. Congratulations goes out to the 9B, 9A and JV on their victories. A special thanks goes out to the Katy Wolfpack and all the people who helped support our Pack the Place Pink Night. The Mustangs traveled to Mayde Creek Tuesday night and came back with 4 wins. The Sophomores won a nailbiter 47-46, while the 9A and JV scored double digit victories. The night concluded with the Varsity winning 64-39. The Mustangs will next be in action this Friday against the Memorial Mustangs.Mustangs Sweep Mavericks!
It was Junior High Night at Taylor High School. Both Memorial Parkway and McMeans Junior Highs got to see all the Mustangs come out victorious against Morton Ranch. The Varsity ended the night with a 57-47 victory. Thanks to everyone for coming out and help support all our teams. The varsity lost by 8 to state ranked Strake Jesuit. Congratulations goes out to our 9A and JV teams for their victories. They both moved their district records to 5-1. The Mustangs will complete the first round of district at home this Friday vs Morton Ranch.Mustangs Fall to Spartans
The Mustangs traveled to Seven Lakes on Friday night and fell short 47-42. The Mustangs will be in action against state-ranked Strake Jesuit next Tuesday.Mustangs Sweep Tigers!
The Mustangs hosted Katy High School on Tuesday night. Congratulations goes out to all 5 teams on their victories. The Mustangs will next be in action Friday night, on the road against state ranked Seven Lakes.Mustangs Take 3 from Cinco Ranch!
The Mustangs took 3 out of 5 from the Cougars on Friday night. Congratulations goes out to the 9A, JV and varsity. The 9A won by seven, while the JV won a thriller in overtime 45-41. The varsity won the nightcap 61-51. It was great to see both the Cinco Ranch and Taylor communities come together to watch some great basketball. The gym was packed with people wearing maroon ribbons with the #23 on them honoring Chris Saiz. The Mustangs will be in action again on Tuesday at home against Katy High School.Mustangs Sweep Mustangs!
The Mustangs traveled to Memorial High School on Tuesday for their second district game. When the final buzzer went off the Mustangs got back on the bus with a sweep. The night was capped with the varsity fighting through not only a tough team but a tough crowd. The Mustangs will next be in action on Friday at home against Cinco RanchOur Thoughts and Prayers go out to Chris Saiz and His Family.
Chris Saiz passed away on Tuesday, December 20th in a car accident. Chris was the starting point guard for the past three years at Cinco Ranch High School. Chris is one of the best players in our district and an even better person off the court. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.Mustangs Open District with 3 Wins!
The 9A, JV and Varsity all opened district with wins against Mayde Creek High School. The 9A won a close battle 30-29 while the JV won 51-40. The varsity got down by as much as 13 in the first quarter only to come back and win 64-45. The Mustangs will next be in action Tuesday at home vs Sam Rayburn.2011-2012 Varsity Standings
