Scoreboard is Up and Ready
It's been a long process but the inning-by-inning scoreboard has been installed at the Mark Morris baseball field. The old LCC scoreboard needs a few lights replaced but it will be ready for the Monarchs home opener on March 18 against Astoria. A special thanks to Mike Rice, Dave Andrew, Jeff Coleman, Joe Johnson and the Longview School District maintenance department for their help with the installation.

Fence Slat Installation Completed

A group of about 15 players and coaches spent a snowy Groundhog's Day finishing the outfield fence slats. In 2005, Columbia blue fence slats were installed in center field and both dugouts. Then, with last year's fundraising money, fence slats were purchased for the left and right field fences. The slats go from foul pole to foul pole.
