This is the ONLY time they ask for parents to assist in helping the Travel program. The 12 spots are as follows: 2 concession, 2 trash, 2 parking lot, 5 field marshals, 1 booth duty for charity sponsor. Every effort will be made to schedule our teams field duty directly before or after our teams game.

2010 Livingston Lonestars
Welcome to the Livingston Lonestars team page. We had a busy 2009/10 where we took part in the Essex Fall Tuneup and Parsippany Pride Tournament in the Fall.Saying it was cold and windy during the Pride Tournament would be an understatement. This Spring we took part in a one day soccer tournament in the Lincoln Park Spring Tournament. Our team plays in the Mid New Jersey Youth Soccer Association www.mnjysa.org.
For the Fall 2010 season, we will again be taking part in the Essex Fall Tuneup (9/10-9/12) and the Parsipanny Pride Tournament (10/8-10/10). In the Spring, we will be taking part in a one day soccer tournament in Lincoln Park (date not confirmed 3/12/11). Looking forward to another busy and productive season.
The team philosophy for Livingston Lonestars is twofold: learning the fundamentals of the game while having fun playing it. The team employs a short-passing style with an emphasis on ball control. They need to control the ball, they shouldn’t let the ball control them.At this age, it is about learning how to play the game. If the boys get the fundamentals down, the victories will come. It is not about winning everything today, it is about developing so that the players can make the next level.
