The Luke Air Force Base "Falcons" located in Glendale, Arizona is a men's varsity baseball team comprised of active duty, reserve, and retired military members. The Falcons roster also includes dependents, DOD employees, and civilians with Luke AFB affiliation.
Individual players range in rank from 0-4 to E-2 and encompass many different career fields. Our breadth of military and baseball experience is large. The uniqueness of the Falcons is that we have a variety of experienced players who have played at all levels of baseball from high school to Division I college baseball and even at the pro level.
The Falcons main objective is to boost the morale of many fine USAF Athletes and display professionalism while showing off the athleticism of the Air Force personnel. Our team will act as ambassadors and give not only a professional view of the United States Military, but also portray the commitment to excellence on the field. Due to great Arizona weather, the Falcons play year-round.
Along with Luke, other Air Force Bases that have varsity baseball teams are Altus AFB, Andrews AFB, Creech AFB, Davis Monthan AFB, Elmendorf AFB, Lackland AFB, Nellis AFB, Tinker AFB and Kadena AB. We hope that baseball becomes an official Varsity Sport for the Air Force.
