Week #13
Wildcats Send Rams Packing 35-21!!!
...The Daytona Beach Wildcats took care of business at home, in "The Jungle" by defeating the fifth seed South Brevard Rams 35-21. This battle of two new teams stayed true to form as the 4th seeded Wildcats came away with the victory against the 5th seeded Rams. The Wildcats took an early 21-0 lead and never looked back. The Rams defense kept them in the game as long as they could, even scoring a touch down on a Wildcat fumble. The Wildcats will go on to face the NFC's #1 seed St Lucie Bobcats. Let's Go Wildcats!
Week #12
Wildcats Suffers First Lost Of Season In The Jungle
The much bigger and more experienced Panthers were just too much for The younger cats in The FFA NFC Northern Division Championship Game. With several opportunities to take control of the game, the Cats couldn't keep from hurting themselves, and allowing the game to slip through their claws. The Cats had 361 yards of total Offense, but still lost 24-14.
Week #11
Orlando Outlaws (Forfeit)
Week #10
The Jungle is too much for The Florida Falcons! The Falcons flew into Daytona Beach thinking this was week #5 and Clay County would protect the dirty birds in "The Jungle". Well the jungle is no place for fowl, it's were Cats run Wild. While keeping the birds out of the end zone and holding them to two wind aided field goals, The #1 defense in The FFA proved that The Jungle is no place for small prey. Final score Wildcats 13 Falcons 6.
Week #9
The well rested Cat's left Jacksonville disappointed by the North Florida Rams forfeit of this week's game. When the Wildcat Bus arrived for the pregame exercise, they found a field that failed to meet FFA standards, and Ram organization in apparent disarray. The final result was a bitersweet victory by default (2-0).
Daytona's "Only Show In Town" will be in action at home this Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 3:30 PM against the Florida Falcons (5-2) at Derbyshire Complex. In week #5 the Falcons handed the Wildcats their first loss and the Cat's are salivating for revenge in the Jungle. Let's Go Wildcats.

Week #7
The Wildcat trip to Jacksonville was not a pleasant one. The injury bit cats(4-2), lost 21-8 to the host Duval Panthers in a NFC showdown. Quarterback Markuee Toliver, who began the season fourth on the QB depth chart, showed why he's one of the top talents in the FFA. Toliver was 12-21 for 200 yards, had 7 carries for 38 yards, while punting twice for an average of 54 yards. Despite his heroics, the Wildcat offence struggled with inconsistency and the defense uncharacteristically didn't score and yielded 21 points.
The Fighting Cats who left Jacksonville licking their wounds, will use this bye week to heal and regroup. On March 7, 2009 Daytona's "Only Show In Town" will travel back to Jacksonville for another NFC game against the North Florida Rams (2-4).
Week #6

Week #5
The Wildcats suffered their 1st loss of the season in a disappointing performance on the road against the #5 Florida Falcons 27-14. The Wildcats came in to the game ranked #3, hadn’t been scored on and looked to continue their dominant streak. The Falcons showed why they are one of the top teams in the Florida Football Alliance (FFA) www.ffafootball.com by taking advantage of nine Wildcat turnovers. The usually potent Wildcat offence sputtered all day and turned the ball over seven times in their own red zone. Congratulations to the Wildcat defense led by James Pinkney’s 14 tackles. The “Best Show in Town” will get back on track this weekend with Homecoming Festivities at Derbyshire Complex at 3:30 PM against the Orlando Outlaws (0-3). Let’s Go Wildcats.
Week #4

These Wildcats are far from being kittens even though they are new. They have won three straight games all of them blowouts! The Wildcats are clearly making their mark on the FFA. The Wildcats now have the record for the leagues largest margin of victory in the first three games and the first FFA team to pitch three straight shutouts.
In arguably the leagues toughest division the Wildcats are sending a message to their division foes that they will have allot to say about who's going to be the NFC North Champions.
