After careful consideration, we in the 'Blazers organization have determined that due to lack of advertising, lack of interest from potential players who don't yet know that we exist, and severe lack of time to put everything together properly, we would be better suited to cease football operations for the 2015 season. With this in mind, Coach Bailey and I will be holding a meeting at his residence tomorrow morning at 9:00 am and begin to put together our plans to field a team in the EAFL in time for January 2016. On behalf of the Daytona Beach Blazers, I would like to thank everyone who came out to our practices over the last month, and we apologize for our shortcomings. Continue to check back in to this page (or our Facebook page) for further announcements in the future. The dream is still alive!
Coach David Bailey has announced that the next team workout will be held Sunday, October 12 at Holly Land Park. The workout will start between 12 and 1 pm. Coach Bailey wants everyone who intends to play football this upcoming season to show up at this workout.
You must be at least 18 years old to show interest in playing Semi-Pro football for the 'Blazers in 2015.
Holly Land Park is located near the corner of Ridgewood (U.S.1) and LPGA Blvd. in Holly Hill. Here's a map of the location
